VicScreen has today announced the appointment of highly-regarded TV executive, Sacha Gregson, as its new Director, Content and Talent.
Gregson, who most recently worked as Head of Production in the ABC Screen division, will join the Victorian Government creative agency starting next month.

“Sacha is well placed to support the Victorian screen industry navigate a rapidly shifting global screen landscape. She is equally well positioned to lead the development of, and investment in, Victorian talent and content that will be central to sustaining a strong pipeline of quality Victorian work.”
In the new role, Gregson will lead a specialist team that is designed to support the local film, television and digital games sectors across development, financing and production.
After starting her career at the BBC, Gregson joined ABC in 2003 where she held a number of senior positions in content areas, including children’s, Indigenous programs, sport, events, and entertainment. Gregon also previously led Content Investment and Policy for ABC Entertainment and Specialist.
“I’m delighted to be joining VicScreen and to be working alongside local talent to develop and produce bold, high-quality multi-genre screen stories, while advancing inclusivity, representation and sustainability across the Victorian screen sector,” Gregson said.

Gregon will commence the position from April 7th.
