A24 has released the official trailer for Charli xcx‘s “The Moment,” starring the “Brat” hitmaker in a meta role.

Based on an original idea by Charli, “The Moment” follows a rising pop star navigating “the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut,” according to the film’s synopsis.

Directed by Aidan Zamiri, “The Moment” also stars Kylie JennerAlexander SkarsgardRachel Sennott, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Rish Shah, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Tish Weinstock, Michael Workéyè, Shygirl and A. G. Cook.

Early this year, Variety exclusively reported news of “The Moment,” which will be the first under Charli’s own production company, Studio365. The film is written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, with music by Cook.

In August, Charli spoke with Variety‘s Marc Malkin about her acting career so far. The popstar has appeared in multiple films that were released this year alone, including Pete Ohs’ “Erupcja,” the Julia Jackman film “100 Nights of Hero” and Romain Gavras’ adventure comedy “Sacrifice.” She is also set to star in Daniel Goldhaber’s “Faces of Death” remake; Gregg Araki’s “I Want Your Sex” opposite Olivia Wilde, Mason Gooding and Cooper Hoffman; and Cathy Yan’s “The Gallerist,” led by Jenna Ortega, Natalie Portman and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

“I am really enjoying my acting journey,” Charli told Variety. “I feel very, very inspired at the moment in that field, I feel unbelievably creative, and I only ever want to do things that inspire me and make me feel energized.”

“The Moment” opens in theaters in 2026. Watch the full trailer below:
