“Dancing With The Stars All Stars” reached its conclusion on Channel 7 on Sunday night, with the competition being taken out by former “Sunrise” weatherman and former host of “Family Feud”, Grant Denyer.

At the end of the dance off, Denyer, along with Courtney Act and David Rodan all had perfect scores from the judges.

Ultimately, however, Denyer was crowned the winner after a viewer vote.

Denyer said he was pleased he’d made a return to the TV format, after winning the trophy back in 2006.

“This show means the world to me, I absolutely love it,” he said. “If I wasn’t dancing or hosting it, I’d be changing the light bulbs in the roof.

“I vowed 15 years ago to never dance again because it was the best memory of my life. I thought I could never top that, so why would you even bother. I’m so glad I changed my mind and did this, because it’s been the best sensation.”

Across the country, 849,000 viewers tuned in to watch the series conclude. Of these, 564,000 viewers were from the five capital cities of Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

The Seven Network said this boosted its metro timeslot audience by 73% year-on-year, while it was also up 34% in the 25 to 54 demographic.

Despite the boost, it wasn’t enough for “Dancing With The Stars All Stars” to beat Channel 9’s ratings behemoth “Married At First Sight”.

‘The Final Dinner Party” episode of “MAFS” had 1.14 million viewers in the five capital cities and 448,000 in the regions, taking its telecast audience to 1.588 million.

The Nine Network said a further 292,000 tuned in via its broadcast video on demand platform, taking its total to 1.880 million.

Channel 9 also launched “Underbelly: Vanishing Act” last night, a dramatisation of the alleged financial fraud and mysterious disappearance of Melissa Caddick.

The network said it was the highest-rating new Australian drama launch since “Seachange” in 2019, based on its metro overnight audience figure of 719,000.

With the addition of 322,000 regional viewers and 91,000 on BVOD, Nine said “Underbelly: Vanishing Act” had a total of 1.132 million overnight.
