Pamela Anderson has confirmed she still has not received an apology from Seth Rogen over “Pam & Tommy,” the Hulu series he executive produced about her relationship with Tommy Lee and the unauthorised release of their sex tape.

Speaking about the project in a new exclusive interview with Rolling Stone AU/NZ, Anderson addressed the lingering impact of the 2022 limited series, which dramatised one of the most invasive and widely publicised incidents of her early career.

The show, produced by Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures, traced Anderson and Lee’s relationship alongside the theft and distribution of their private recording – something Anderson has consistently described as a profound violation of privacy.

When asked whether Rogen had ever reached out to apologise, Anderson said he had not.

“I guess I should take it as a compliment? How would you feel? It’s just weird when I’m alive, I’m right here, like hello? Maybe call and ask? I’ve never heard from him,” she told Rolling Stone AU/NZ.

At the time of the series’ release, Rogen acknowledged that Anderson had not participated in the project and did not engage with its development. He defended the series as an exploration of the broader cultural moment surrounding the tape’s release, rather than a direct retelling authorised by its subjects.

However, the show drew criticism from some observers for proceeding without Anderson’s involvement, with concerns raised about consent and the ethics of dramatizsng real-life trauma.

Anderson has previously expressed discomfort with “Pam & Tommy,” saying the retelling of the story reopened an experience she had worked to move past.

“I’m on to other things – I’ll show him ha,” she concluded.
