Comedian Max Amini has announced he will head to Australia and New Zealand this year for a string of headline dates.
The Iranian-American comic, director and producer will kick off the run this August in Auckland, followed by shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney.
Amini has become one of the most-watched comedians on the planet. In 2025 alone, he amassed over 25.7 million followers and 5.8 billion views on Instagram, earning him the title of the platform’s most-watched comedian globally. He made history as the first Iranian-American artist to headline Madison Square Garden, and has also sold out the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Amini’s 2025 world tour has taken him through 19 countries, 60 cities, 150 sold-out shows, and more than 200,000 tickets sold.
Outside of comedy on stage, Amini has built an extensive screen career, appearing in more than 50 films and television series, including NBC’s “Heroes”, “Mind of Mencia” on Comedy Central and Real Rob on Netflix. His stand-up special, “Randomly Selected” racked up over 16 million views in under six months.
