Jessica Mauboy will host the return of “That Blackfella Show” next month, marking the program’s second outing as part of NAIDOC Week.
The ABC variety special — Australia’s first First Nations variety program — returns following a successful debut season, this time with Mauboy at the helm.
Joining Mauboy is a line-up of First Nations talent including Baker Boy, Dyagula and Drifting Clouds, with Ian Zaro — known to Australian audiences from “The Traitors” and “Nude Tuesday” — taking on the role of newest tearoom custodian.
The special will feature new sketch content, including the return of fan-favourite Aunt Kerrie and the acting debut of rapper and spoken word artist BARKAA, who steps in front of the camera for the first time.
NAIDOC Week 2025 runs July 6–13, celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. “That Blackfella Show” airs at the midpoint of the week’s festivities.
“That Blackfella Show” returns on ABC TV and ABC iview on Wednesday, July 8th at 9.10pm.
