Prime Video today announced the title, release date, featured players and teams of its highly anticipated Australian Football League (AFL) docuseries “Final Siren: Inside the AFL.”

The series will premiere on February 27, 2026 – exclusively on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories worldwide.

“Final Siren: Inside the AFL” is a four-part docuseries featuring some of the AFL’s biggest names from six teams – Melbourne, Western Bulldogs, GWS Giants, Fremantle, Gold Coast Suns and 2025 AFL premiers, the Brisbane Lions.

From the Emmy award-winning team at Box To Box Films (“Formula 1: Drive to Survive,” “Faceoff: Inside the NHL”), “Final Siren: Inside the AFL” is a character-driven snapshot of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, providing fans unprecedented access to Australia’s most beloved game.

Featured players include Melbourne Premiership Captain Max Gawn, seven-time All Australian Marcus Bontempelli from Western Bulldogs, GWS Giants Captain Toby Greene and Touk Miller from the Gold Coast Suns.

The series also takes fans behind the scenes as Dayne Zorko and Cam Rayner and the Brisbane Lions become back-to-back Premiers, as well as dual Brownlow Medallist Nathan Fyfe who leaves behind a 16-year career at the Fremantle Dockers.

“By offering an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the 2025 AFL season, through the eyes of absolute legends of the game, we are excited to give fans the ability to connect deeply with the sports and athletes they love,” said Sarah Christie, head of Originals Prime Video Australia and New Zealand. “’Final Siren: Inside the AFL’ captures the raw passion, personality and drama of Aussie Rules football in ways we have never been seen before, and we are thrilled to showcase the game to the world.”

“While Aussie Rules football is deeply rooted in Australia, the emotions at the center of this series are universal—ambition, pressure, identity, and the personal cost of competing at the highest level,” said Hillary Olsen, executive producer at Box To Box. “With unprecedented access and a character-first lens, the series thrusts viewers into the intensity of the game, capturing high-stakes moments on and off the field that resonate with audiences around the world.
