The first acts confirmed for Just For Laughs Sydney 2026 are here.
The annual comedy festival returns this year for its 14th edition, featuring a programme led by “major international names, standout touring comics and local favourites.”
“International heavyweights, beloved local legends, and a roster that makes choosing just one show genuinely difficult. It is a first look at a festival programme bringing together acclaimed comedy voices from around the world, with plenty more to come,” the official website states.
16 shows have been announced to kick things off. Leading the way is “Mock the Week” icon Dara Ó Briain, US superstar Gabriel Iglesias, “Taskmaster” star Greg Davies and comedy legend Bill Bailey.

Just For Laughs will once again take over Sydney between November 9th-22nd, bringing comedy and more to venues such as State Theatre, TikTok Entertainment Centre, Enmore Theatre, and more.

In related news, the one and only David Letterman is set to make his debut at the Montreal version of Just For Laughs next month alongside Canadian actor and comedian Will Arnett.
The former late-night host will interview Arnett as part of his ‘An Evening with David Letterman and Special Guest…’ series on July 21st.
