New Australian Russell Crowe Film ‘Beast’ Gets Cinema Release Date

“Beast,” starring and co-written by Russell Crowe, officially has an Australian release date.

The new Australian-made sports action film will officially be released in local cinemas on April 23rd before it hits Stan at a later date.

The official synopsis for the film states that “‘Beast’ follows Patton James (Daniel MacPherson), who abandons his mixed martial arts dream to support his wife, Luciana (Kelly Gale), and son. When his brother, Malon (Mojean Aria), suffers a serious injury and faces financial strain to underworld figures, Patton sets out to avenge him in a ONE Championship fight with the help of veteran trainer Sammy (Crowe)”.

“Beast,”, co-written by Crowe and David Frigerio and directed by Tyler Atkins, was shot across Sydney, Port Kembla and at a live ONE Championship event in Bangkok in front of 10,000 fans.

“We couldn’t be more excited to unleash ‘Beast’ on Australian audiences,” Rialto Distribution CEO, Kelly Rogers, said.
