MrBeast has spoken out against President Donald Trump‘s global tariffs.

The YouTube personality and television host took to X on Tuesday to share how Trump’s new tariff proposal is impacting his line of Feastables chocolate bars. Announced on April 2 during an event dubbed “Liberation Day” by the President, the expanded tariffs have led to turmoil in global markets and caused the stock market to crash, even before they officially go into effect on April 9.

“Ironically because of all the new tariffs it is now way cheaper to make our chocolate bars we sell globally NOT in America because other countries don’t have a 20%+ tariff on our cogs,” MrBeast wrote. “[By the way] we pay our farmers a living income, use fair trade certified beans, etc. so I was already spending a lot on cocoa. A random price hike was pretty brutal [not going to lie]. We’ll figure it out. I feel for small businesses though. Could really be a nail in the coffin for them.”

MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, has become one of the most successful YouTubers since joining the platform in 2012. Through his channel, which has over 380 million subscribers, he has spawned several businesses, including his chain of MrBeast Burger ghost kitchens and a pre-packaged kid’s lunch brand, Lunchly.

While Hollywood has yet to feel significant backlash from the tariffs, there is now worry that China could outright ban Hollywood films, shutting out the U.S. from the world’s second-largest film market. U.S. tariffs on China currently sit at 54%, but could shoot up as high as 104% with Trump’s new plan.
