“The Voice,” “Bluey,” “Muster Dogs: Collies & Kelpies,” “LEGO Masters Australia” and “Unbreakable: The Jelena Dokic Story” are among the early winners at the 2025 Logie Awards, as is Guy Montgomery for Most Popular New Talent.
Australian television’s night of the nights is back, broadcasting live from The Star Sydney from 7.30pm on Sunday, August 3 on Seven and 7plus. Hosted by Sam Pang and recognising local small-screen highlights from the past 12 months, 2025’s event marks the accolades’ 65th year.
Jimmy Barnes opened the proceedings with a rendition of “Working Class Man” — about which, Pang said “I can’t think of a song that has less of a connection to the people in this room tonight” during his opening monologue — while presenters include 2o24 Gold Logie-winner Larry Emdur, Ray Martin, Kitty Flanagan, Hamish Blake, Leigh Sales, Rebecca Gibney, Zan Rowe, Chloe Hayden, Ayesha Madon, Tom Gleeson, Michael Theo, Justine Clarke, Kate Miller-Heidke and Poh Ling Yeow.
As announced the day before the ceremony, Magda Szubanski is set to be inducted into the Logie Awards Hall of Fame.
