The wait is almost over, ARMY. After nearly two years of solo ventures and military obligations, K-pop titans BTS are gearing up for their highly anticipated full-group comeback slated for March 2026, according to The Korea Herald.
The septet ā RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook ā will officially reunite following the completion of all seven membersā mandatory 18-month military service, with Suga set to complete his duty this Saturday.
HYBE, the entertainment company that houses BTS through its Big Hit Music label, operates a multi-label system that includes acts like Tomorrow X Together and Enhypen under subsidiary Belift Lab. The company went public in 2020 and currently has a market cap of approximately $9.4 billion, making it one of the worldās most valuable music companies.
āBTSā comeback date is set for March next year,ā a HYBE official confirmed to sources, according to The Korea Heraldās report. The timeline aligns with previous signals from HYBE CEO Lee Jae-sang, who told shareholders earlier this year that the group would need ātime for preparation and creative workā post-discharge.
The March timeframe could see some serious label synergy, with sources suggesting the comeback will coincide with stablemate Tomorrow X Togetherās return. āWhile the exact date is unknown, I think it will be mid-March,ā one overseas source told The Korea Herald. āI heard BTS is returning in the same month as their brother group Tomorrow X Together. It could be BTS first, then TXT ā or the other way around.ā
Variety has reached out to HYBE for comment.
The BTS effect is already reshaping HYBEās release calendar. According to sources, Enhypen ā the boy group under Hybe subsidiary Belift Lab ā had originally planned a March comeback but shifted to January to avoid competing with the global phenomenonās return.

The March timeline would allow for the creative breathing room HYBE brass previously indicated was necessary. āWeāre preparing alongside top-tier producers, but the artists also need time to reflect and prepare,ā Lee said during the companyās March shareholder meeting.
The comeback timeline also accounts for Jinās extensive solo commitments. The eldest member kicks off his āRunseokjin_EP.Tourā fan concert series June 28-29 in Goyang, with 18 shows planned across nine cities including stops in Japan, the U.S., London and Amsterdam through Aug. 10.
The March 2026 comeback would mark BTSā first full-group release since their 2022 anthology album āProof,ā which preceded their military service hiatus.
