Priscilla Presley has announced two dates for “An Evening with Priscilla Presley, Life After Elvis” in New Zealand later this year.
The announcement coincides with the release of her memoir “Softly, As I Leave You,” a personal story of what she lost, and found, when she walked away from Elvis Presley.
On Wednesday, November 19, Presley will visit the Isaac Theatre in Christchurch, before heading to Auckland’s Bruce Mason Centre the following night.
She has similar shows planned for Australia later in the month, across Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.
Presley has put in hard efforts to preserve her late ex-husband’s legacy, including being involved in recent films related to her life with him. She was an executive producer on Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 film “Elvis,” starring Austin Butler, and on the Sony/Netflix animated series “Agent King,” which fulfilled Elvis Presley’s lifelong dream of wanting to be a federal secret agent.
Meanwhile, the 2023 film “Priscilla,” directed by Sofia Coppola, was an adaptation of her previous memoir “Elvis and Me.”
Her impact on popular culture, however, extends beyond that association. She has established herself as an actress, businesswoman, and philanthropist, starring in films including “The Naked Gun” and soap opera-style television series “Dallas.”

In 1979 she became co-executor of the Presley Estate, and has built the entity into a successful organisation with a worldwide licensing program, merchandising, music publishing, and television projects.
However in recent years, she has also been at the centre of complex legal dramas, including a court battle over control of Lisa Marie’s estate, a now-resolved settlement with granddaughter Riley Keough, and an ongoing elder abuse lawsuit against a former business associate accused of manipulating her into signing away rights to her own name and likeness. Meanwhile, a bizarre and failed attempt to fraudulently foreclose on Graceland by an alleged dark-web scammer has only added to the surreal orbit around the Presley name.
Presale tickets will be on sale Monday, September 1 at 1pm local time via Live Nation. General sale will be Tuesday, September 2 at 2pm local time.
