TV’s biggest night is finally here, as the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards crown their winners during Sunday night’s ceremony, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze.

Apple TV+ is expected to be the major winner of the night, with its Hollywood satire series “The Studio” and twisty workplace drama “Severance” as major frontrunners. After last weekend’s Creative Arts Emmy awards ceremony, “The Studio” already has nine wins across the comedy categories, and “Severance” has six trophies in drama. Both lead their respective races.

In outstanding drama, “Severance” is up against Disney+’s “Andor,” Netflix’s “The Diplomat,” HBO’s “The Last of Us,” “White Lotus” and “The Pitt,” Hulu’s “Paradise” and Apple TV+’s “Slow Horses.” In comedy, “The Studio” faces off against ABC’s “Abbott Elementary,” FX’s “The Bear” and “What We Do in the Shadows,” HBO Max’s “Hacks,” Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building,” Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This” and Apple TV+’s “Shrinking”

In the limited or anthology series categories, HBO Max’s “The Penguin,” a gritty spinoff of “The Batman,” already has eight wins after the Creative Arts awards. It’s up against Netflix’s “Adolescence,” “Black Mirror” and “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” Apple TV+’s “Presumed Innocent” and FX’s “Dying for Sex” in the category.

NBC and Peacock’s “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” also got some love at the Creative Arts Emmys, where it won seven awards in the variety special categories.

Bargatze hosts the show live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, beginning at 5 p.m. PT. The show will broadcast in Australia on Foxtel’s Showcase channel and BINGE from 10am Monday.
