“The Bachelors Australia” finally has a premiere date on Network 10.

The dating format had originally been slated to hit screens in 2022, however questions began to arise about where it would fit into the schedule as the year progressed and the network turned its attention and marketing efforts towards “The Real Love Boat Australia”.

At its Upfronts event last month, the network then revealed the revitalised show – now featuring three leading men instead of the traditional one – would screen in the non-ratings period in January, 2023, but didn’t give a specific date.

It has now been announced the show will premiere on both Channel 10 and 10 Play on Jan. 9.

In a publicity announcement about the premiere date, 10 said viewers should be ready to witness a new era of love and romance this summer.

“With the glitzy backdrop of the Gold Coast, there will be an exciting world first with triple the bachelors, triple the romance and triple the engagement rings. And, of course, some great drama,” the network said.

The show will once again be hosted by Osher Gunsberg, who said the show still finds and celebrates love better than anyone.

“There’s a lot that’s going to look and feel very different. I mean, the name of the show for starters. It’s “The Bachelors”. Plural. There’s three of them. An abundance of Bachelors,” he said.

“Joining these three eligible young men from across the country are smart, powerful, beautiful women who – like our Bachelors – are over the dating apps, the ghosting and the inability to commit.”
