“The Amazing Race Australia” has released an extended trailer ahead of its premiere on Channel 10.

The network has not yet revealed when the show will air.

“The Amazing Race Australia” was revived in 2019. In 2020, however, the show was restricted to only Australian locations due to COVID-19 and Australia’s border closures.

It didn’t screen at all in 2021.

This year’s edition of the televised competition will see racers facing challenges in locations around the world including Greece, Mexico, Belize, Morocco and Colombia.

The new trailer shows host Beau Ryan on his way to the start line of “the greatest race on Earth”.

“Now that international travel is back, we’re going global,” Ryan tells the camera.

The trailer shows teams both celebrating and lamenting as they deal with the game’s challenges and their own, as well at their excitement at getting back out into the world.

Broadcaster Network 10 has also previously noted the opportunities offered up by a more open world.

“As international borders open up across the globe, so does the endless possibilities for the intrepid teams who will be racing across six continents and experiencing the extraordinary delights of international destinations such as Turkey, Greece, Belize, Morocco, Mexico and Colombia,” it said.

It added that this year’s season will feature “amazing places and amazing people” in a “world of pure imagination”.

Since its 2019 revival, the show has been produced by Eureka Productions.
