A beloved animation makes its big screen debut and two acting legends lead a tense thriller series on Disney+ this July.
On July 13th, Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow star in thriller series “The Old Man”, adapted from Thomas Perry’s 2017 novel of the same name.
Bridges plays Dan Chase, a former CIA agent who’s been living off the grid in upstate New York for decades. When an assassin unexpectedly arrives and tries to eliminate him, the ageing operative realises the he must reconcile his past to ensure his future.
Early reviews for “The Old Man” have been so strong that the series has already been renewed for a second season. You can’t really go wrong in the acting company of Bridges and Lithgow.
Following in the animated footsteps of “The Simpsons” and “South Park” by making the leap from the small screen to the big screen, “The Bob’s Burgers Movie” arrives on Disney+ on July 13th.
A musical comedy/mystery/adventure all wrapped in one, the story begins when a ruptured water main creates an enormous sinkhole right outside Bob’s restaurant, blocking the entrance entirely.
As Bob and Linda struggle to keep their business afloat, the Belcher kids try to solve a mystery that could save the restaurant. The storyline sounds like it could fit in a classic episode of the beloved animation series, but who’s complaining about spending an extra hour in the company of the Belcher family?
