The finalists for the MTV Movie and TV Awards have been revealed.
The ceremony aims to honour the biggest and best movie and television in categories including Best Show, Breakthrough Performance and Best Kiss.
The MTV Movie and TV Awards are determined via fan votes, which take place online until May 18.
Leading the nominees for the 2022 event is “Spider-Man: No Way Home” with seven nods, followed by “Euphoria” with six, “The Batman” with four and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” with four.
Best Film nominees are “Dune”, “Scream”, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”, “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, “The Batman” and “The Adam Project”.
Best Show, meanwhile, pits “Euphoria”, “Inventing Anna”, “Loki”, “Squid Game”, “Ted Lasso” and “Yellowstone” against each other.
The categories are gender neutral, with Lady Gaga (“House of Gucci”), Robert Pattinson (“The Batman”), Sandra Bullock (“The Lost City”), Timothee Chalamet (“Dune”) and Tom Holland (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”) in the running for Best Performance in a Movie.
Best Performance in a Show is between Amanda Seyfried (“The Dropout”), Kelly Reilly (“Yellowstone”), Lilly James (“Pam and Tommy”), Sydney Sweeney (“Euphoria”) and Zendaya (“Euphoria”).
The broadcast will be available to Australian viewers at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 6 on MTV Australia.
