‘Bluey’ Gets 10 More Mini Episodes at Disney+ and a Televised Stage Show

“Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show” and 10 new minisodes of “Bluey” are headed to Disney+.

A special televised version of the “Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show” will hit the streamer on March 16. It will feature live performances of all the “Bluey” characters brought to life by world-class puppeteers. In addition to that, 10 “Bluey Minisodes” that have previously been available online and in Australia will premiere on May 20.

The minisodes are short-form and produced by Ludo Studio. Highlights include Bluey and her sister Bingo leaning into playful interactions and games that further explore the characters and world of “Bluey.” The collection includes: “Humpty Dumpty,” “Green Bottles,” “Flying Saucer,” “Tea Party,” “Pea Pod Sausages,” “Old Macdonald,” “Honk,” “Lollipop Song,” “Cinderell” and “Make Mum Laugh.”

“Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show” is an original story by creator Joe Brumm and music composed by Joff Bush. The special is produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions in association with Ludo Studio, Andrew Kay and Windmill Theatre Co and is distributed internationally by BBC Studios, with executive producers Tom Cousins and Anna Perowne.

As previously announced, the upcoming “Bluey” movie is set for a global theatrical release on Aug. 6, 2027. After hitting theaters, the “Bluey” film will be available to stream on Disney+ and on ABC Iview and ABC Kids in Australia.

Later this month, “Bluey” is set to join Disney Experiences as part of Disney’s global relationship with BBC Studios, with the producers of “Bluey,” Ludo Studio, collaborating on special fan activations. “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” celebrates the animated series at the reimagined Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland Park in Anaheim. Now transformed into a beautiful Fun Fair at Bluey’s School, Bluey and her sister Bingo appear throughout the day alongside comedic performers and musicians, and guest appearances.
