“Bridgerton” Season 4 Part 2 has finally dropped this week, and the world has continued its obsession with Yerin Ha.
The Australian actor, who plays Sophie Baek in the Netflix show, has firmly put Australia and Korea on the map with her showstopping performance.
It’s not just viewers who are enamoured with her turn as the opinionated maid who falls for nobleman Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), but her fellow cast members can’t speak highly enough of Ha.
“Yerin is amazing. Aside from being a great actress, she’s just an incredibly all-encompassing person,” Isabella Wei, who plays Ha’s stepsister Posy Li tells Variety. “I was so amazed by how she just had this ability to recognise everyone and talk to everyone, and never made anyone feel left out.
“She was definitely a leading lady… she has an energy where she takes care of anyone, everyone, but also takes charge and is confident, and she’s also just super sweet and so funny.”
Her onscreen love interest, Thompson, also couldn’t stop gushing about how much he loved working with Ha. “Yerin takes the work seriously, but she doesn’t take herself seriously. It’s the combination of being an amazing scene partner, in terms of actually in the scene, but also outside. We just had a laugh,” he said.
“[She’s] just a good person, as well as being wildly talented. And I do think that’s rare. I think that combo is not often felt.”

Hannah Dodd, who plays Francesca Bridgerton, confirms the entire cast is “obsessed” with Ha. The British star has family in Australia, so will sometimes spend time with Ha while Down Under. “[Yerin] is an incredible talent, and we are so, so lucky to have her. She’s done an incredible job leading the series on and off screen,” Dodd gushes.
“Yeah, she’s representing Australia very, very well.”
Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2’s release saw the Netflix original take the number one spot in Netflix’s Top 10 in Australia. Globally, it sits at number three, behind “Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model” and “The Night Agent” Season 3.
All eight episodes of “Bridgerton” Season 4 are now available to stream on Netflix.
