As well as adding another title to Prime Video‘s slate of Australian Originals, “Top End Bub” is one of the streaming platform’s big-name new releases in September 2025. After 2019 Australian rom-com “Top End Wedding” joined the service’s catalogue in August, its new eight-part streaming series spinoff sees Miranda Tapsell and Gwilym Lee return as couple Lauren and Ned — and also head back to Darwin, this time in the aftermath of a tragedy.
When “Gen V” initially premiered in 2023, it too expanded an on-screen world, taking “The Boys” franchise to college. Two years later, the show returns for its second stint at Godolkin University, diving back into the growing tensions between superheroes and humans.
Other titles joining the service include page-to-screen adaptation “The Girlfriend” featuring Robin Wright and Olivia Cooke; the Jesse Williams-led “Hotel Costiera;” Liam Neeson-starring sequel “Ice Road: Vengeance,” which shot in Victoria; and 2025 cinema release “The Monkey.”
