Jimmy Kimmel on Monday went after Donald Trump for his scathing review of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.
“Bad Bunny got a bad review from our bad president, unfortunately,” Kimmel said during Monday’s broadcast of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “He wrote, ‘The Super Bowl halftime show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst ever. It makes no sense. It’s an affront to the greatness of America and doesn’t represent our standards of success, creativity, or excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A and around the world.’ This is a man who paid off a porn star who spanked him with his own face on a magazine.”
Kimmel then went after Turning Point USA’s rival programming, the “All American Halftime Show.” The late-night host joked that TPUSA should’ve “put on the Kristi Noem shoots her puppy bowl because this was not a good program.”
“[Conservatives] complain about how bad everything is, and then they do it worse,” Kimmel added. “And not only do they do it worse, they do it in jorts. Of course, the gang at Fox News thought it was great, and Turning Point, they seemed happy with it too.”
The show then cut to a TPUSA rep telling Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade that the organization plans to do “another halftime show for the country next year.”
“Next year it will be Lara Trump with a Ted Nguyen cover band,” Kimmel quipped. “They’ve got to do it for the country.”
