ISTREAM, a new family-friendly creator convention, will bring more than 100 digital creators to Melbourne next year.
Taking place on Saturday, January 23rd-24th at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the inaugural event will give fans access to creators through panels, meet-and-greets, interactive challenges, live podcast recordings, live gameplay, performances, activations and other immersive experiences.
The lineup includes Jordan Howlett, Reckless Ben, Chloe Ting, Scammer Payback, Trilogy Media, Hasan Piker, Abbie Chatfield, true crime podcaster Gary Jubelin and gaming creators TommyInnit, LazarBeam and Lachlan.
TommyInnit, British YouTuber, Twitch streamer known for his Minecraft content, said: “I’m so excited to go back to Australia, oh my days! I loved going to Australia last time and meeting so many of you already… my Australian TommyInnit fans are my favourite of my fans!”
LazarBeam is one of the most-subscribed-to Australian creators on YouTube and is one of a select few creators to not only be featured in Fortnite’s Icon Series but to receive his own “Fortnite” skin.
“I never leave the house, but I will be doing a meet-and-greet,” he said. “So this is a very rare opportunity.”
ISTREAM founder Belle Popoff said the event was created to bring our incredible homegrown talent into the same rooms as some of the biggest names in the world, all while giving fans a chance to experience those connections in person.

“I’ve always believed Australia deserves an experience that captures the energy of those massive US and UK conventions, while celebrating the creativity, humour and talent of our own creator community,” Popoff said.
“ISTREAM is about taking those communities beyond the screen and bringing them to life, giving fans the chance to meet the people they follow and make connections in real life.”
The event will also be a platform to highlight the importance of online safety with Australian families.
“It’s about more than just a weekend of entertainment,” Popoff added.
“As our lives become increasingly digital, we have a responsibility to help people navigate that world safely. Bringing Scammer Payback and Trilogy Media to Australia is part of that mission, helping kids and families recognise scams, understand manipulation and feel safer online.
“We want people to leave iSTREAM feeling inspired, entertained and genuinely connected, but also safer, wiser and better equipped to look after themselves and each other in an increasingly digital world.”
