Netflix has set the premiere date for “The Hunting Wives” Season 2.
The second season of the soapy drama will debut on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. It will consist of eight episodes. Netflix has also released first-look photos from Season 2, which can be seen below. The show will air in Australia on Stan.
The series stars Brittany Snow, Malin Åkerman, Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, and Hunter Emery. Branton Box, Dale Dickey, Kim Matula, Cam Gigandet, Alex FitzAlan, John Stamos, and Angel Reese also star.
“The Hunting Wives” is based on the book of the same name by May Cobb. The logline for the second season states, “At the start of Season 2, Sophie (Snow) and Margo (Akerman) are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?”
The series was developed by Rebecca Cutter, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Erwin Stoff of 3 Arts Entertainment also executive produces along with Cobb. Lionsgate Television is the studio.
