Fox Sports Australia has announced it will conclude its local and international netball coverage following the Constellation Cup final on Wednesday night.

Fox Netball will say farewell to viewers across Foxtel, Kayo SPORTS and BINGE after five years, which helped to set a new benchmark for women’s sports streaming and broadcasting in Australia, bringing fans matches live, expanding access across linear and streaming platforms, and delivering more netball content, storytelling and innovation than ever before.

The 2026 Suncorp Super Netball season was the most-streamed Super Netball season of all time across Foxtel, Kayo SPORTS and BINGE, and the second-highest performing Super Netball season overall across linear and streaming.

The Constellation Cup has also delivered landmark results, with the 2025 series the highest-performing Constellation Cup series of all time across linear and streaming, as well as its most-streamed. Games One and Two ranked as the first and second highest-performing Constellation Cup matches ever.

General Manager – Fox Sports, Erin Ferreira said: “We are incredibly proud of what our team has achieved for netball and its fans. Together with Netball Australia, the clubs, players and our production partners, we helped bring the sport to more Australians, in more ways, than ever before.

“From every Super Netball match live and ad-break free, to new formats, deeper player storytelling and world-class production innovation, this team has left a lasting legacy for the sport and women’s broadcasting.

“We are proud to have helped elevate netball’s profile, deepen the connection between fans and the game, and help build an even stronger platform for the sport’s future.

“Most importantly, we thank the players, coaches, clubs and fans who trusted us with their stories and shared their passion every week. It has been a privilege to play a part in netball’s growth.”

Netball Australia Chair, Liz Ellis AO added: “Wednesday night will mark the end of an incredibly important chapter for Netball Australia, as we conclude our time with Fox Sports Australia.

“For the past five years, Fox Sports has been a tremendous supporter of netball, and importantly, a partner that believed in the sport and its potential. Their commitment to showcasing our athletes, our teams and our game has played a significant role in getting netball to where it is today.

“To the entire Fox Sports team – thank you for leadership, belief, investment and partnership and everything you have done for netball.”

Fox Netball’s coverage has also been shaped by some of the sport’s most trusted and recognisable voices, including Cath Cox, Bianca Chatfield, Sue Gaudion, Madison and Kelsey Browne, Kim Green, Caitlin Bassett, Stacey Francis-Bayman and Emily Beaton. The team has been strengthened by the insight of current players including Paige Hadley and Kate Moloney, as well as recently retired stars Jo Harten and Steph Fretwell, whose experience and passion have brought fans closer to the game.

Across its coverage, Fox Netball introduced and expanded a broad netball content ecosystem, including Pivot, Centre Circle, Off the Court, The 4th Quarter podcast, digital-first coverage, full-match replays, minis and social storytelling.

The production also pioneered new ways of bringing fans closer to the action, including in-game team meeting room access, live post-match press conferences, net microphones, coach and bench cameras, headset interviews, changeroom crosses and on-court masterclasses.
