“Euphoria” ended with 8.7 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max in three days, a slight increase from the Season 3 premiere.
Though Warner Bros. Discovery did not provide viewership totals for each week of “Euphoria” Season 3, the company reported that that the final season’s first episode hit 8.5 million viewers in three days, marking a 44% increase from the Season 2 premiere in January 22. That means that the series’ final episode, which is titled “In God We Trust” and aired on Sunday night, increased on the Season 3 premiere by 2%.
Episodes of “Euphoria” Season 3 are now averaging 25 million viewers to date. That’s a 17% increase from the average viewership Season 2 reached in the same amount of time. For comparison to another 2026 drama series on HBO Max, “The Pitt” reached 9.7 million viewers with its Season 2 finale earlier this year, at which point it crossed a 15.4-million viewer average, and it should be noted that “The Pitt” was measured in terms of U.S. viewership alone while “Euphoria” viewers were measured globally.
“Euphoria” followed a group of high schoolers as they navigated drugs, sex, trauma and friendship, with Season 3 picking up years after they graduated. The series was created, directed and executive produced by Sam Levinson. The cast included Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Hunter Schafer and more.
