The first acts for the 2027 Sydney Comedy Festival have been announced.

Running from Monday, April 12th, to Sunday, May 16th, returning acts include Irish-born legend Jimeoin, Australian favourite Denise Scott, Scotland’s Connor Burns, Luke Heggie, Lewis Garnham, South Africa’s Marc Lottering and Daniel Muggleton.

The Sydney Comedy Festival Gala events will be held again in April at the Enmore Theatre and the Sydney Opera House. The Gala draws in a roster of international icons, homegrown talent, and the next-big-things in comedy.

“We are back in 2027 for our 22nd iteration, which is shaping up to be another huge year. The acts announced today are just a taste of what’s to come,” James Declase, Sydney Comedy Festival General Manager, said.

“We have a lot of surprises kept up our sleeves, so stay tuned for more surprises over the coming weeks and get ready to celebrate NSW’s biggest month of comedy.”

Earlier this year, the comedy festival welcomed Emmy and Grammy-winning comedic actress, Tiffany Haddish.
