Following months of voting and anticipation, triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2025 has officially arrived, connecting Aussie music fans from across the globe together to reflect on the songs that defined the past year.
This year’s Hottest 100 has been to be one of the most competitive yet; featuring 26 debut entries, a record number of back-to-back appearances, and at least one major Hottest 100 milestone falling along the way.
The countdown saw millions of listeners throw their support behind their favourite tracks, with voting closing earlier this month ahead of today’s live broadcast.
In the end, Olivia Dean took out the top spot, claiming the coveted number one position with “Man I Need”.
Australian artists featured heavily throughout the countdown, with acts like The Tullamarines and Ninajirachi sitting alongside many of the world’s biggest international acts (like Olivia Dean and Tyler, The Creator), reflecting a year shaped by pop/electro-domination and releases that resonated far beyond the airwaves.
Beyond the music, the Hottest 100 once again partnered with homelessness charity We Are Mobilise, with more than $176,000 raised to support people doing it tough across Australia.
Below is the full triple j Hottest 100 of 2025 countdown, as voted by listeners nationwide.
