Eyekons! Save the date: Katseye will release “Wild,” their latest EP on Aug. 14. “Wild” is the band’s third EP and is the follow-up to last year’s “Beautiful Chaos.”

The news comes after the group made their Coachella debut last weekend, where they performed their latest single “Pinky Up,” and “Gnarly.” The band were joined by the singing voices of “Huntr/X” from “KPop Demon Hunters” (EJAE, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna) for a special performance of the Oscar-winning song, “Golden.”

The band are set to return to the Sahara stage this Friday.

In addition to playing Coachella, they are set to headline the Head In The Clouds and Hinterland Music festivals and perform at The Governors Ball.

Earlier this week, they received nominations in three categories at the American Music Awards: New Artist of the Year, Best Music Video (for “Gnarly”) and Breakthrough Pop Artist.

Formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ Dream Academy, the group climbed the ranks as K-pop trainees on the reality competition series. They became breakout performers shortly after, and earilier this year, they landed a Grammy nomination for best new artist. Their song “Gabriela” was nominated for best pop duo/group performance.

The group has released two EPs, 2024’s “SIS (Soft Is Strong)” and last year’s “Beautiful Chaos,” as well as a handful of singles. “Gnarly,” which was co-written by Alice Longyu Gao, became their first song to hit the Billboard Hot 100 last year. They followed with “Gabriela,” “Gameboy” and “Internet Girl,” the latter of which debuted at No. 29 on the charts.
