Steve Downes, the voice of “Halo” protagonist Master Chief, is slamming Donald Trump‘s White House for its “disgusting and juvenile war porn” video on social media, which included the Downes-voiced Master Chief in a montage alongside clips from “Iron Man,” “Top Gun,” “Tropic Thunder” and more. The pro-war video was touting “Justice the American Way.”

“It has come to my attention that there is at least one propaganda video circulating that was either produced or at the very least endorsed by the White House that uses images of Master Chief and uses my voice to support the war in Iran,” Downes posted on X. “Let me make this crystal clear: I did not participate in nor was l of consulted, nor do I endorse the use my voice in this video, or the message it conveys.”

“I demand that the producers of this disgusting and juvenile war porn remove my voice immediately,” the voice actor added.

Downes was far from the only talent featured in The White House’s pro-war video to speak out against their inclusion. Ben Stiller also responded on X and objected to the video use’s of “Tropic Thunder” clips.

“Hey White House, please remove the ‘Tropic Thunder’ clip,” Stiller posted. “We never gave you permission and have no interest in being a part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie.”

The White House regularly angers entertainment figures by using their work in social media videos that endorse war, support ICE, defend Trump or more. Kesha was the latest pop star to slam The White House after it used her song “Blow” in a separate pro-war video. Sabrina Carpenter called The White House “evil and disgusting” last year for using her song “Juno” in a video touting ICE raids.
