Batman has appeared on top of the Sydney Opera House this weekend in celebration of Batman Day.
As Variety Australia reported last week, despite reports that last week’s spottings were for “a film currently shooting in town,” the stunt was all in celebration of the Dark Knight, which typically take place every year on the third Saturday of September.
A huge crowd turned out to see Batman on the iconic landmark on Saturday evening around 6pm. Check out some footage below.

Events are held around the world, which range from special screenings of Batman films to comic shop giveaways.
This year will mark 87 years since the creation of Gotham City’s defender.
Meanwhile, the upcoming “Batman 2” is currently being filmed in London and is scheduled to release in February 2028.
“I’m in London here till the end of the year doing a ‘Batman’ sequel,” Pattinson told GQ in an a recent interview. “It’s good. I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, ‘Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.’ But it’s really fun. And I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon.”
