Paramount Australia and New Zealand has confirmed Chief Sales Officer Rod Prosser will step down at the end of April.
Prosser has spent 15 years with the company, where he played a central role in shaping the group’s cross-platform sales strategy across Network 10 and Paramount+. As Chief Sales Officer, Prosser led the national sales division, overseeing client relationships and sales strategy across the company’s broadcast and streaming assets.
Beverley McGarvey, President of Network 10, Head of Streaming and Regional Lead for Australia and New Zealand, said Prosser had made a lasting contribution to the business. “Rod has been an important leader within our advertising division and the wider management team and has guided the sales team with clarity and focus. We thank him for his contribution over many years and wish him every success,” McGarvey said.
Lee Sears, President of International Markets Advertising Sales at Paramount Global, also acknowledged his departure. “I want to thank Rod for his leadership, integrity and friendship, he has been a tremendous leader of the team and the Paramount business in Australia. He has set the team up for continued growth and I sincerely wish him well in the future,” Sears said.
Prosser said the decision came after reflecting on his next step following 15 years at the company. “It has been a privilege to lead the commercial team at Paramount ANZ. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and grateful for the support of our teams and clients,” he said. “After 15 years at Paramount, I’ve made the decision that it’s the right time for me to take a break and reset before the next chapter.”
Prosser’s responsibilities will transition to Grant Madigan, who has been appointed Vice President, Sales. Madigan will assume accountability for the Australian sales team and report directly to Lee Sears.
