Southern Cross Media Group (SCA), following the integration of Seven West Media, has appointed Mamamia CEO Natalie Harvey to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer, while Chief Commercial Officer Seb Rennie has announced he will depart the business.
Harvey will commence the new role in September, reporting directly to Managing Director and CEO Rohan Lund. The media giant said the appointment forms part of a streamlined operating model designed to accelerate growth across SCA’s television, audio, publishing and digital assets, as the company continues to reshape its leadership structure following its merger with Seven West Media.
In the newly created role, Harvey will lead SCA’s commercial strategy, with responsibility for driving premium revenue growth and business development across the group’s national portfolio. SCA said her experience across television, audio and digital media positioned her to lead commercial growth across the combined business.
Harvey brings more than two decades of media experience to the role. She most recently served as CEO of Mamamia, having joined the business as Chief Revenue Officer in January 2024. Prior to that, she was National Sales Director at Seven West Media and held senior agency leadership roles at UM Australia and MediaCom.
Announcing the appointment, Lund said: “There is some fantastic momentum across the group right now and an enormous opportunity once we bring together the power of the combined group in content and advertising.”
“As we evolve our operating model to bring decision-making closer to our products and customers, creating the Chief Revenue Officer role ensures we have single-minded leadership over our national commercial strategy,” he said.
“Natalie brings an extraordinary depth of media experience and a proven track record across both publisher and agency sectors. Her exceptional skill set in building digital commercial businesses, paired with her deep expertise across television, audio and publishing platforms, makes her the ideal leader to unlock the full potential of our combined strengths and drive our digital transformation forward,” Lund said.

Harvey said the opportunity came at a pivotal moment for the business.
“I’m thrilled to be joining SCA at such an exciting time. What really excites me about the role is the combination of trusted brands, talented people and a clear ambition for the future,” she said.
“The business has an incredible opportunity to unlock the full potential of its combined strengths, creating even greater value for audiences and brand partners,” Harvey said.
“Rohan has a compelling vision for the future, and I’m excited to work alongside the team to help deliver on that ambition.”
SCA said Rennie had played a key role in strengthening the commercial capability of its audio business since joining in February 2023, leading the sales team through a period of transformation and helping build client and agency relationships.
In a LinkedIn post announcing his departure, Rennie said the role had been impacted by changes to SCA’s operating model following its merger activity.
“After three and a half years with SCA, my role as Chief Commercial Officer has been impacted following a change to the operating model post-merger, and I will be leaving the business this week.”
Rennie described his tenure as “a fantastic journey” and said he was proud to have led the commercial team through a period that delivered “sustained revenue and market share growth”, strong Media I scores, the 2025 AdNews Sales Team of the Year award and the growth of LiSTNR into a major digital audio platform.
“It’s been a fantastic journey and a real privilege to have led the commercial team through a period of success, delivering sustained revenue and market share growth, standout Media I scores, 2025 AdNews Sales Team of the Year and helping to scale LiSTNR into a market-leading digital audio player.”
He also thanked colleagues, clients and partners, adding that he was looking forward to his next move and was open to new commercial leadership opportunities.
