Paramount Australia and New Zealand has made two senior appointments in its content leadership team, effective immediately.
Tamara Simoneau has stepped into the role of Vice President, Content, while Yeesum Lo has been promoted to Vice President, Content Business Affairs and Strategy.
Simoneau has been with Paramount’s Network 10 since 2020 as Head of Lifestyle Programs.
She has worked on shows including “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”, “Gogglebox Australia”, “Australian Survivor”, “The Masked Singer”, “The Living Room”, “The Project” and “Studio 10”.
Prior to that, she spent a number of years at Corus Entertainment in Canada.
Lo has also been with Paramount for nearly five years as Head of Development. She has played a central role in commissioning and developing local productions across platforms.
She previously spent nearly a decade with production house Endemol Shine Group, having held roles including Director of Digital and Corporate Project Manager.
Beverley McGarvey, President of Network 10 and Head of Streaming at Paramount ANZ, said of the promotions: “I am delighted to welcome Tamara and Yeesum to these new leadership positions on our content team.
“They both have impressive track records and will play an important role in driving our programming slate across our platforms.”
Their appointments come following news of Daniel Monaghan’s departure yesterday. The veteran television executive will depart Paramount ANZ in February 2026 after nearly two decades at Network 10, where he has been instrumental in shaping the country’s entertainment programming.
His exit represents the end of an era for the network, where he served as Senior Vice President of Content and Programming since 2021. His tenure at Network 10 began in 2008, during which he climbed the programming ranks to oversee some of Australia’s most successful television productions.
