Michelle Visage is back!
This time, the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” judge is on hosting duty. Visage will host the inaugural season of “Drag Race Down Under vs. The World.”
Joining Visage are actor and comedian Rhys Nicholson and Season 4 winner Lazy Susan. The series is set to air on WOW Presents Plus in the U.S. and select territories, and Stan in Australia.
World of Wonder co-founders, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to expand the ‘Drag Race’ legacy. We are going totally Glocal as local legends face off against global icons. ‘Down Under vs. The World’ promises a season packed with unfiltered moments, fashion, and lip syncs that will leave no lash unglued.”
“Drag Race Down Under vs. The World” will see fan favorites from “Drag Race Down Under” go head-to-head with sickening queens from around the world — all vying for the ultimate crown.
The series will deliver a global twist on the classic ‘Drag Race’ format and a feature a star-studded guest judge lineup. New looks, louder drama, and legendary lip syncs will be served as the battle for global drag dominance begins.
Bailey, Barbato, Tom Campbell, and RuPaul Charles serve as executive producers for World of Wonder. Alicia Brown serves as executive producers for Stan.

Also happening this week in the “Drag Race” universe, “Drag Race France All Stars” is set to have its season finale on WOW Presents Plus on Aug. 28.
“Drag Race” is also nominated for outstanding reality competition program this year, earning its ninth consecutive nod in the category. It is the most-awarded reality competition show at the Emmys with five wins in the category. The show and its spinoffs earned 10 nominations this year overall, including for unstructured reality program for “Untucked”; makeup for a variety, nonfiction or reality program; lighting design/direction for a series; picture editing for an unstructured reality program for “Untucked”; picture editing for a structured reality program; directing for a reality program; casting for a reality program; and production design for a variety or reality series.
