Peacock has released the official trailer and first look images for Sarah Snook-led series “All Her Fault,” which is set to premiere on Nov. 6.
Based on Andrea Mara’s novel of the same name, the story, which will screen on BINGE IN Australia, follows a mother whose life unravels when her young son disappears. The cast also includes Jake Lacy, Dakota Fanning, Michael Peña, Sophia Lillis, Abby Elliott, Daniel Monks, Jay Ellis, Thomas Cocquerel, Duke McCloud and Kartiah Vergara.
The official logline for the series states, “Marissa Irvine arrives to collect her young son Milo from his first playdate, but the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She doesn’t have Milo and has never heard of him. As every parent’s worst nightmare begins to unfold, new questions lead to deep secrets, revealing cracks in the Irvine’s seemingly perfect world until everything is left shattered.”
“All Her Fault” is Snook’s first lead TV role since the ending of “Succession,” in which she earned an Emmy and two Golden Globes for her portrayal of Shiv Roy on the HBO drama. Her other TV credits include “The Beautiful Lie,” “Black Mirror,” “The Secret River,” “Soulmates,” and “All Saints.” In film, she has starred in features such as “Steve Jobs,” “Pieces of a Woman,” “Predestination” and “The Glass Castle.”
Megan Gallagher is adapting the book for the screen, serving as the writer, creator and executive producer. In addition to starring, Snook executive producers with Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame and Joanna Strevens for Carnival Films (“The Day of the Jackal,” “Lockerbie: A Search for Truth,” “Downton Abbey”), Minkie Spiro, Christine Sacani and Jennifer Gabler Rawlings.
Spiro (“3 Body Problem,” “Downton Abbey,” “Dead to Me”) also directs the first episodes, including others, alongside Kate Dennis. Terry Gould is a producer while Mara is an associate producer.
Carnival Films produces the show for Universal International Studios, and it’s distributed by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution.
