Justin Bieber has revealed the tracklist for what appears to be his seventh album “Swag,” reportedly releasing on Friday.
The pop singer started ramping up for the new record early Thursday morning, as fans noticed billboards around the world showing a photo of Bieber with the word “Swag” accompanying it. One billboard popped up in Reykjavik, Iceland, where Bieber had visited earlier this year. Soon after, Bieber posted a video taken in New York City’s Times Square depicting a Billboard with the alleged tracklist.
The album is apparently arriving on Friday per the Hollywood Reporter, who states that the record will feature appearances from Gunna, Sexyy Red and Cash Cobain. The publication reported that Bieber has been hosting jam sessions at his Los Angeles home this year with appearances from Carter Lang, Eddie Benjamin and DJ Tay James. Bieber has been posting glimpses from inside the studio on social media, most recently sharing a photo with his 10-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber. Last year, singer-songwriter Mk.gee stated in an interview that Bieber was working on his first record since 2021’s “Justice.”
Bieber’s representatives at his label, Def Jam, declined Variety‘s request to comment further.
“Swag” arrives after a musical hiatus from Bieber, who sold his catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for north of $200 million in Jan. 2023. That same year, he split from his longtime manager Scooter Braun, who reportedly had financial issues with Bieber after giving him a loan to pay back concert promoter AEG for his canceled “Justice” tour.
