Veteran Hollywood executive Christina Lee Storm has joined Secret Level as the head of the company’s new narrative studio, founder/chief creative officer Jason Zada announced Tuesday. The AI-native entertainment studio also announced plans to launch a new internal AI-powered production platform, Liquid Engine, in 2026, “aimed at allowing the company to seamlessly scale its robust production slate,” per the company.
Prior to joining Secret Level, Storm spent time at both Netflix and DreamWorks Animation. For the streamer, Storm led virtual production initiatives across series, films, unscripted and special projects, and at DreamWorks, the executive oversaw production technology in feature animation, as well as interactive and emerging media for the studio’s franchises. Storm also co-founded the emerging technology and entertainment consultancy Playbook PLBK, and recently led the Television Academy’s special AI guidelines task force.
“Throughout my career as a producer and an executive, I’ve advocated for creatives, helping them to leverage and understand the impact of technology to elevate their stories,” said Storm in a statement. “I’m thrilled to continue bridging traditional entertainment and emerging media at Secret Level.
Storm’s hiring comes as Secret Level continues to expand its AI initiatives. Over the past two years, the studio has been working with major studios and partners on AI; currently in development are original and co-produced long form and narrative projects, set to be announced by the company in the coming months. Recent Secret Level work has included Coca-Cola’s “Holidays Are Coming” campaign, as well as original projects premiering at Sundance, CES, TED, and Art Basel.
“Hollywood is at an inflection point, and Secret Level is positioned to lead the next wave of storytelling,” said Zada in a statement. “Christina is one of the most forward-thinking leaders in the industry. Her curiosity, innovative mindset, and ability to solve problems in new ways make her the perfect partner as we continue building the studio of the future. Innovation is in Secret Level’s DNA, and Christina embodies that same drive to push boundaries.”
