Comedian, actor, writer, director and producer Chris Rock has signed with WME for exclusive representation in all areas including acting, directing, comedy touring, books and more.
Rock has won three Grammy Awards for “Roll with the New,” “Bigger & Blacker” and “Never Scared.” He also has four Emmy Awards for “The Chris Rock Show,” “Kill the Messenger,” and two for “Bring the Pain.”
Rock’s groundbreaking standup specials and his work on “Saturday Night Live” have cemented his status as one of the top standups in the world and one of the most influential voices in comedy. His 2023 special “Selective Outrage” premiered live on Netflix and made history as the platform’s first-ever global live-streamed event.
Lately, Rock has been positioning himself as more of a writer and director. He is currently attached to helm the U.S. remake of Oscar-winning Danish drama “Another Round” and a Martin Luther King Jr. biopic produced by Steven Spielberg for Universal Pictures.
Rock is next set to direct and star in the feature “Misty Green,” based on his own original script. Most recently, he served as executive producer and narrator of “Everybody Still Hates Chris,” a reimagined animated version of his autobiographical family comedy “Everybody Hates Chris,” currently streaming on Paramount + and other platforms. He was previously seen on the big screen in “Rustin” and in season 4 of FX’s hit show “Fargo.”
Beyond standup, Rock has built an established film career, starring in hits like “Top Five,” which he also wrote and directed, “Amsterdam,” “2 Days in New York,” Nurse Betty,” “Madagascar,” and his documentary “Good Hair.”
Rock has appeared on Broadway, earning acclaim for his performance in “The Motherfucker with the Hat.”
Rock continues to be represented by Untitled Entertainment; Yorn, Levine, Barnes, Krintzman, Rubenstein, Kohner, Endlich, Goodell & Gellman; Vision PR; and ML Management.
