The 2024 Met Gala is live and the fashion is in full bloom.

Anna Wintour’s co-chairs for the evening are Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth.

This is Hemsworth’s first time attending the ball, while the other three co-chairs have participated in previous years.

NBA star Ben Simmons, Grammy-winning pop star Kylie Minogue, and A-list actors Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman are part of the Australian contingent.

The theme of “The Garden of Time” is drawn from J.G. Ballard’s 1962 short story of the same name. The garden party theme is already in full bloom as the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s stairway is adorned with hundreds of fake flowers.

Dozens of the most stylish stars descended on the Met steps on Monday night for the 2024 edition, celebrating the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s new exhibit “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

The exhibit, which opened for press previews on Monday morning, features approximately 250 rare items drawn from the Institute’s permanent collection. Spanning over 400 years of fashion history, the pieces include designs by Schiaparelli, Dior, Givenchy, and more.

Of course, for those tuning in from home, the most exciting part of the night is the red carpet, during which the attendees make their grand entrance and debut their themed looks. It’s also the only part of the night that is broadcast to the public. Once the attendees enter the museum for the dinner and performance, pictures and video are strictly prohibited.

The best way to catch the red carpet arrivals online is on “Live from E!: 2024 Met Gala” and on a variety of live TV streamers such as DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV and Sling.

The entire 2024 Met Gala red carpet will also be available on Vogue’s TikTok and YouTube channel live streams, hosted by Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham. Emma Chamberlain returns as the Conde Nast publication’s special correspondent.

On Monday morning, after more than a year of talks, Condé Nast management inked an employment pact with hundreds of union workers at Vogue and other publications — heading off a strike that threatened to disrupt Monday night’s gala.
