Amazon MGM Studios is developing a new “Jack Ryan” feature film as the next stage in the evolution of the Tom Clancy franchise starring John Krasinski.
Wendell Pierce, who starred alongside Krasinski in the series, will also star, while Michael Kelly is in negotiations to reprise his series role.
Andrew Bernstein, who served as an executive producer and director on Season 2 of the series, is directing the film from a script penned by Aaron Rabin, who served as a co-executive producer and writer on Season 4 of the series.
John Krasinski and Allyson Seeger are producing via Sunday Night. Andrew Form is also producing. The film is produced in association with Paramount Pictures and Skydance. Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg will executive produce alongside John Kelly and Carlton Cuse.
The film will be an extension of the Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Television, and Skydance original series “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.” Through its four released seasons, the series ranks among Prime Video’s top three most-watched series globally.

He previously co-wrote, directed, and starred in Paramount’s Oscar-nominated film “A Quiet Place,” returning to write and direct the sequel “A Quiet Place: Part II” following the first movie’s success. He produced the third entry in the series, “A Quiet Place: Day One,” this year.
