Anna Torv is among the nominees for the upcoming MTV Movie & TV Awards.
Torv is nominated for her role as Theresa ‘Tess’ Servopoulos in this year’s runaway hit “The Last of Us”.
She is nominated alongside co-star Philip Prajoux in the Best Kiss Category, and is up against Harry Styles and David Dawson (“My Policeman”), Madison Bailey and Rudy Pankow (“Outer Banks”), Riley Keough and Sam Claflin (“Daisy Jones & The Six”), and Selena Gomez and Cara Delevigne (“Only Murders in the Building”).
“Elvis”, the Elvis Presley biopic from Australian director Baz Luhrmann, is also up for Best Movie, up against the likes of “Avatar: The Way of Water”, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, “Nope”, “Scream VI”, “Smile” and “Top Gun: Maverick”. “Smile” also features Australian actress Caitlin Stasey.
The 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards will be hosted by Drew Barrymore on Monday, May 8 in Los Angeles.
