“And Just Like That” is gearing up to return for Season 2.

The “Sex and the City Spin Off” was first released in 2021 by HBO Max, and was available locally on Foxtel’s Binge.

It was set 11 years after the 2010 film “Sex and the City 2” and more than 17 years after the original TV show wrapped up.

The new show boasted executive producers including original director, writer and EP Michael Patrick-King as well as stars Sarah Jessica-Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, however Kim Cattrall, who portrayed Samantha Jones in the original show and films, was noteably absent.

Earlier this week,Variety exclusively reported that Cattrall is set to return as Jones in a cameo, but will only appear in one scene.

Today’s media release from Binge confirmed Cattrall’s “guest appearance”.

The trailer for “And Just Like That” doesn’t showcase Cattrall’s scene, but does feature former cast member John Corbett, reprising his role of Aidan Shaw.

“And Just Like That” Season 2 will hit Binge, Foxtel Showcase and Foxtel on Demand at 8:30p.m. on Thursday, June 22, for a double-episode premiere. The following nine episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays.
