The debut season of “Citadel” and season five of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” highlight Amazon Prime Video’s April release schedule. The streaming platform will be competing for eyeballs with the likes of Disney+ and Netflix.
On April 28, “Citadel” hits Prime Video, a show about a group of former spies who must unite to stop an organization from establishing a new world order. The series stars Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Stanley Tucci.
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, another popular Prime Video show, returns for its fifth and final season on April 14th. The show follows Midge Maisel as she continues to pursue her dream of becoming a comedian. Rachel Brosnahan, Tony Shalhoub, and Alex Borstein lead the cast.
“Dead Ringers”, a modern take on David Cronenberg’s thriller, stars Rachel Weisz as twins who push the boundaries of medical ethics.
Dennis Quaid, Heather Graham, and Jesse Metcalfe star in “On a Wing and a Prayer”, a true story about a man who safely lands a plane after the pilot dies.
“Lizzy Hoo: Hoo Cares!?” a comedy that follows Lizzy Hoo’s life experiences and travels, is out on April 6.
