April 2023 promises a variety of new titles to watch on Stan, offering something for everyone’s taste. The lineup includes a magical fantasy adventure, a darkly comedic series, a heartwarming comedy-drama, and more.
Kicking things off on April 7 is “The Portable Door,” a Stan Original Film based on Tom Holt’s fantasy series. The movie stars Christoph Waltz and Sam Neill and follows Paul Carpenter, an intern at J.W. Wells & Co, who discovers that his workplace is anything but ordinary.
On April 20, “Totally Completely Fine,” a darkly comedic series, will premiere on Stan. The show follows Vivian Cunningham, who inherits her grandfather’s waterfront shack, a known suicide site, and suddenly finds herself talking people down from the cliff’s edge.
Season two of “From,” a haunting thriller from the executive producers of “Lost,” will return on April 24, revealing hidden truths about the town’s nature and terrifying origins, and introducing mysterious newcomers.
April 14 brings the premiere of “Blindspotting” season two, a heartwarming comedy-drama following Ashley as she raises her son after her prison nuptials with Miles, facing mounting pressure that leads her to lash out at those around her.
Finally, on March 31, viewers can watch “Sisters,” a new dark comedy-drama created, written, and starring Sarah Goldberg, following two half-sisters on a road trip to find their alcoholic father, infused with macabre humour.
