Gwyneth Paltrow is coming to Australia to headline an in conversation event hosted by local media personality Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
The event is the brainchild of Henderson and her best friend and former colleague, Gemma O’Neill, who have recently announced a new business partnership together, known as besties.
Paltrow is an Academy Award, SAG Award, Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award winner, with acting credits including “Shakespeare in Love”, “Emma”, “Iron Man” and “Sliding Doors”. She has since turned to various business ventures including her “modern lifestyle brand”, goop.
Publicity for the event promised it would be a candid conversation between Paltrow and Henderson.
“Effortlessly cool, a pioneer in the health and wellness space, Gwyneth will give us an intimate insight into her life; from Hollywood, to consciously uncoupling, running a global business and everything in between. It’s also a night where she will have the chance to get up close and personal with her Aussie fans,” event details said.
Paltrow said sharing stories with other women is one of her favourite things to do.
“It bonds us, lifts us all up and lets us celebrate what makes us all special. I’m so looking forward to coming to Australia with besties to do just that,” she said.
Henderson and O’Neill added: “We’ve always been in awe of Gwyneth, her business ethic, willingness to take the road less travelled and her appetite to take risks. She is so gracious, funny, smart and so much fun. We can’t begin to tell you how excited we are that Gwyneth Paltrow is coming to Australia for besties to share all her stories.”
besties with Gwyneth Paltrow will take place at Aware Super Theatre on Oct. 27. Tickets start from $100. VIP Package prices have not yet been disclosed, however they include an exclusive cocktail party after the event including a meet and greet and group photo.
In addition to speaking events, besties will eventually also offer group holiday adventures and a range of curated luxury products.
