The Screen Actors Guild Awards are back to honor the year’s best acting performances, subsequently giving key insights into the Oscars race as awards season heats up.

Before the televised ceremony, SAG announced that “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Stranger Things” had won outstanding action performance by a stunt ensemble in a motion picture and television series, respectively.

“The Banshees of Inisherin” and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” lead this year’s nominations with five nods each, including best ensemble, the ceremony’s highest honor. The two films will compete against Damien Chazelle’s “Babylon,” Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans” and Sarah Polley’s “Women Talking” for the prize.

On the TV side, the final season of Netflix’s “Ozark” is the show to beat with four nominations, including drama ensemble. HBO’s “Barry” and Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” are the comedy frontrunners with three nods apiece.

Sunday night’s ceremony, taking place at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, will stream live on Netflix’s YouTube channel starting at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET. Presenters include Michelle Yeoh, Colin Farrell, Emily Blunt, Andrew Garfield, Caleb McLaughlin, Adam Scott, Jenna Ortega and more.
