“Lego Masters Bricksmas Specials” will be back for two episodes on Nov. 20 and 27 on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Across the Sunday night specials, four celebrity guests will team up with four “Lego Masters” favourites to form super teams and compete to be the Lego Masters Bricksmas Specials champions.
Joining this year’s specials is Darren Palmer, interior designer and judge on Channel 9’s “The Block”, children’s entertainer and former Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins, actor Lincoln Lewis, and chef and host of Channel 9’s “Snackmasters” Poh Ling Yeow.
They will be joined by returning contestants Fleur (Season 3), Gerhard ‘G’ (Season 1), Alex (Season 2) and Sarah (Season 3).
“Lego Masters Australia” host Hamish Blake and judge Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught will guide the teams to create two Christmas-themed builds.
The Nine Network said the Christmas-themed specials are sure to get the whole family into the festive spirit.
“Lego Masters” comes from producers Endemol Shine Australia, a Banijay Company. The series is adapted from an original U.K format from Tuesday’s Child Productions and The Lego Group.
Season 1 of “Lego Masters” in Australia premiered to an overnight metro audience of 1.377 million viewers, making it the most-watched program of the night on April 28, 2019.
Nine had been selling the show as one which would “aggregate families around the television”.
Season 5 of “Lego Masters” is already in production and will screen next year.
