Top independent podcasters Wil Anderson and Charlie Clausen have struck a deal to bring their suite of podcasts into the house of Listnr.

The deal encompasses “TOFOP” and “FOFOP”, as well as Anderson’s solo project “Wilosophy”.

Even though “Wilosophy” is currently on hiatus, past episodes will also comes across to Listnr. Variety Australia also understands Listnr is keen to revive the popular interview podcast.

The three podcasts join Clausen and Anderson’s other offering, “2 Guys, 1 Cup”, an AFL-adjacent podcast which became a Listnr exclusive earlier this year.

“TOFOP” sees the duo discussing everything from pop culture, film, sport, personal stories and intense hypotheticals. It began in 2010 and boasts over 400 episodes. “FOFOP”, meanwhile, features either Anderson or Clausen interviewing a range of guests over another 400-plus episodes.

“Wilosophy” sees Anderson having deep conversions with guests in a bid to discover their meaning of life. It launched in 2014 and recent episodes have featured Josh Szeps, Craig Reucassel, Julia Gillard, Russel Howcroft and Osher Gunsberg.

The duo said they were excited to be bringing their podcasts across to Listnr and discovering what a professionally produced podcast actually sounds like.

“When we first started recording “TOFOP” over a decade ago, there was no way we could have known just how popular podcasting would become, otherwise we would have come up with a better name,” they said.

“Since then our roster has grown to include “FOFOP”, “Wilosophy” and the AFL-adjacent podcast “2 Guys, 1 Cup”. We’re excited to bring them all to Listnr and look forward to hearing what professionally produced podcasts should sound like.”

Sam Cavanagh, head of entertainment and culture at Listnr Original Podcasts, added: “Wil and Charlie are pioneers of podcasting in Australia. Taking on longstanding shows of this calibre reflects Listnr’s objective as the home of brilliant Australian audio content.

“It adds to our already deep line-up of culture and comedy podcasts including “Hamish and Andy”, Urzila Carlson’s “That’s Enough Already”, Abbie Chatfield’s “It’s A Lot”, “Just the Gist” from Rosie Waterland and Jacob Stanley, and “Matt and Alex’s All Day Breakfast”.

Listnr said new episodes of “TOFOP”, “FOFOP” and “Wilosophy” will drop weekly.
