Stan has lots of excellent films arriving this December to get you through the festive period.

On the first of the month, the Stan Original Film “Christmas Ransom” should make for fine festive viewing. Starring Logie Award-winner Miranda Tapsell and acclaimed comedian Matt Okine, the adventure comedy sounds inspired by classic Christmas films of the past.

When a toy store is hijacked on Christmas Eve by a pair of bumbling criminals, a pair of shoplifting kids must team up with a heavily pregnant security officer to save the day.

Also coming to Stan just in time for the holidays are “T2 Trainspotting”, “The Social Network”, “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”, “The Notebook”, “Easy A” and many more; when you’re overstuffed with food and avoiding conversations with distant family members, Stan’s December lineup should keep you occupied.
